Hey everyone! I'm sorry I've not really got my ass on here properly for a while.
It's my lunchbreak and I'm bored, so I thought I'd poke my head in for a bit and see what I need to catch up on at the weekend.
My friend Emily has made me *pinky promise* to go out with her on Saturday night. I'll be keeping her company at work. She starts at 11 pm. That's my bedtime!!!! Heh. I'll be ok. So long as people don't try and talk to me. I'm not the most social person in an unfamiliar place. I suppose it's because I'm quite shy, I find it hard to talk to people without coming off like a loony. :)
Anywho, I got paid today! :D Oh yeah! shooooooes, new phone,...........shooooooooooooes!!!! I don't know how much yet because my payslip has gone missing, so it might warrant a fifteen minute walk to the HR department. Yep. This hospital is huuuuge.
Don't know what else to write now. I know I've got a million things to sort out for the meet-up thread, so I'll come on tonight and do a check-list in that section of my journal and everyone is welcome to add things I missed or forgot about.
Right. Off for a quick coffee and then to look at the *fantastic* slides I made with Hayley. :) She's like an older version of me. (scary thought!)

I'm currently watching a programme in which they're exploring the subject of having surgery on your vagina, to make it look better. It looks...............painful...................
But I can understand why some women want it doing. It's a self confidence thing. It'd make you feel better about yourself, wouldn't it? To look *normal*.
But then again, everyone's views of a perfect vagina, or a womans at least, is from porn films where most of the actresses have either had surgery, or look like they haven't developed beyond the age of twelve.
I agree with this comment, said by an artist who was on the programme (and making plaster casts of fifty different vaginas for a display)
" I don't really care about it. I don't think about it. If you love someone, why should it matter what they look like down there? Women should think, love me- love my bits too".
I'm not perfect, no one is. But then again, if you can love yourself for who you are and what you look like, I don't give a flying fuck what anyone else thinks about me. I'm me, and if they can't deal with that, it's their problem, not mine.

I had a conversation with my mum earlier, about my baby boy Vladimir. She's tried to hold him, only to get growling sounds worthy of Linda Blair.
The moment I held him, he just snuggled his head into the crook of my neck and purred his head off. :)
And then, just to show mum how clever he is, because she thinks he's an ignorant lil' bleeder, I said: *Bubba Vlad, where do we go for cuddles? G'on, go for cuddles!*
Mum muttering something like *This'll never w-*
When lo and behold, he runs up the stairs, into my room, onto my bed for cuddles. :)
Mum's response: *Well.....you certainly have a bond.........please don't raise an evil cat army while I'm sleeping* Heh.

Yaaaaaaay Monsieur Sonik is back! I missed him. :) I still remember years ago when we were talking on msn when he did a *funny sonik dance* for me on webcam. lol That was soooooo funny.

I finally got in contact with the man at the hospital, confirming when and where I should turn up on Monday to officially start my new job. :)
I'm scared as s**t about it, I've never had what you'd call a *proper* job before, one that pays a stupidly good amount of money to boot.
I mean, a 19 year old earning £12,580 a year????

The dress code is smart casual. My mum immediately said *Right, shopping Saturday then*. Heh. And a haircut too. My hair right now is a........a........... a mullet. 0.o
Dad's coming to pick me up in a few to go shoe shopping. I need nice, sensible shoes......apparently new rocks aren't nice or sensible. ;)
And my grandpa gave me some good advice. He said: *Becks, whatever you do.....DON'T call your boss Gibbs or Ducky, ok?* Hehehe. I luffs him. Eighty odd, and he has all of these inside jokes and stuff about NCIS with his grand-daughter. :)
Mum also told me to go and see everyone at the SCBU (Special Care Baby Unit). That's where I lived for the first six months of my life. :) They like to know what's happened with babies they've taken care of, and it helps some of the parents too, to know some indeed survive and go on to have normal lives.
Apparently I was *special*. I was born about three months before I was supposed to. I was given an hour to live, and had the Last Rites said over me by a Priest.
My shift at work went really well last night. I got sent home after an hour and a half because I was dizzy and my manager didn't want me to faint on the shop floor. Heh.
And then my shift today went by in a blur. And now I AM DONE WITH TESCO!!! *woo-hoo*!!!! I ended my shift by running out of the shop yelling: *I'm free!!!!!*
My dad got me The Orphanage on DVD as a treat. It was amazing....but totally confusing.
I'm now watching The Devils Rejects, which, thankfully, isn't confusing at all.
